Mailbag - It's that time of the week

[The Marco says: 'Moo']Ah March, the month that goes in like a Lion and out like a lamb. Well, Spring has almost sprung and so has the new layout. Not only that, the new Zelda games are on the way. Why don't you all read these letters, I'm gonna find myself a nice rack of lamb.

Points to Make

This is a small section I have put aside so that I can address specific issues relating to the Colossus. I'll update this with every edition of the Mailbag.

The new Zelda GB Color Games

Have you seen the latest screenshots for them? If not go here. Kick ass!

March 5- 12

I liked your Death Mountin Range text adventure. It was really fun but since this CPU is retated and the one in my room doesn't have a phonejack, I really like playing a game I don't have to download! I'll defenitley tell my friends!
MegamanD89@aol.com

Webmaster: Thanks a lot! As stupid as it seems, that game took me hours to make! I enjoyed it too.

Eh, I jess wanted to say that I noticed that most of the "stalfos" are actually skulltula's.....anyways, you have a boss Zelda site. TRIFORCE FOREVER!

?

I'm unable to understand it. I'm stuck in the chamber just before the locked door of the boss, and I cannot figure out how to get onto the fiery ledge that has the flower. There are two pedestals that have roofs over them. One of them shelters a launch flower, one of them shelters the switch. There is a launch flower on the roof of the switch, but there is no launch flower on the roof of another (there is a skulltula hanging above it, instead). From where do I start to get to the fiery ledge with the launch flower? (I already have all of the fairies.) If you could reply as soon as possible. . .I'm kinda stuck in the game right this second.

Look behind you at the wall, you'll find bunches of grottos filled with launch flowers.

Hi,

First off thanks for the great site! It has helped me a lot! I just wanted to let you know that the frog, Mamu, is actually Wart, the bad guy from Mario Bros 2. You can include that in your mysteries section and Mario buddies. He's the annoying bad guy who burped vegetables at the end of the game! (o:

Really? I never noticed it. That's really cool. Thanks for pointing that out!

January 5- 12

I just got Majoras Mask, and I'm having trouble finding those five kids. Can you give me exact locations?
AJTRAINER251@aol.com

Two kids are in the east, one is in the west, and two are in the north. Consult our walkthrough for some of the exact locations.

Hi,
Thanks for all the great info on your site! I am having trouble finding all 4 holes in termina field w/ the 4 gossip stones. I found 1 under a boulder by the chu-chus between the north and west exits, 1 by the outside of the astral observatory fence and 1 on the way to the southern swamp entrance if you were coming from the great bay entrance. I am able to change the color of the stones, I just can't find the 4th grotto.
Thanks,
Zoë
ZoeK@san.rr.com

Well in addition to what you found I believe there is a hole in the corner of the high "wall" between the entrance to the swamp and the Observatory. Just follow the "wall" until you go behind a tree, it should be in there.

You mentioned on your "zelda, links awakening" DX site that if you became a thief you could not get the red or blue tunic in the color dungeon.

Sorry, but I had no problem getting in the color dungeon and have been using the power tunic. One of the first things I did was become a "thief". I got the shovel and (if I remember correctly) the Bow immediately after getting the sword from the shores.

Jack replies:
I've been debating whether or not that's true myself, because I did the theif trick and was not allowed to enter the Color Dungeon. The fifth grave said like was a "coward" or something like that.

Marco adds:
Yes, I've been thinking the same thing. I'd hate to open up the old debate, but if you've done the trick first then got in the Dungeon (without having entered before) could you email me?

For Triforce's sake, if you have a question, comment, complaint, or anything you want to say, and me to respond to, then email Marco Bartoli at M-Bartoli@vgznetwork.com all letters will either be posted or (if urgent) answered by Marco (me) himself!
