"Miss?" Saria wiped her face but it was obvious she'd been crying.

"I..I'm fine," Saria wispered a huge lump now forming in her throat.

"You don't look fine. Look where do you live?" Saria looked up at the conserned stranger his grey eyes were pretty and his dirty blond hair was short and put together, the exact opposite of Link's. He was well dressed and had a sword. He smiled as he helped her up. Saria still looked gorgeous in that dress and he stared at her. Saria didn't notice for a moment then she started blushing.

"Ummm, thank you. Uhh?"

"Eli (E-lie) and you are?"

"Saria,"

"Well, thats a nice name. Saria do you need a ride to where ever you live?"

"Yes, actually. Oh, and Kakiriko,"

"Well, then your riding with me 'cause I happen to be staying at Kakiriko too," Saria smiled as the friendly stranger took her to his horse. She mounted after him and held onto him tight when they rode. Eli smiled when she held on and purposely went on a few bumps because of that. When the got to Kakiriko, Eli opened the door for her and then left, Saria was happy and felt good that someone had treated her like a lady. She remembered Link and anger got the best of her. She quickly opened the conecting door and saw Link and Zelda making out.

"Mmmm, SARIA! Oh, its just you. Hey, knock next time will ya? Heh, heh. I guess Zel forgave me faster than I thought huh? Hey, why are you wet? And what are you all dressed up for......Oh my...sheesh! I am such an idiot. I am sooooo sorry. Saria! SARIA!" Saria slamed the door and locked it she ignored Link banging on it and locked the front door and ignored Link banging on that too. Zelda eventually convinced him to give up. Saria jumped in a bath and got ready for bed.

The next morning Saria woke up late and saw a rose on her face she picked it up and wondered who? She got dressed in her tunic and then saw a bunch of roses in a path. She followed the path and picked up the roses at the same time. Saria smiled and was thinking of forgiving Link. She then picked up a rose by the Inn (Penelope's old house) which had a note attached to it "Look up." Saria looked up and was relived there was no water baloons or any other wet thing. It was a rose on a string. She jumped up and grabbed it, it also had a note "Come to the roof." Saria was beaming this was sooooo sweet. She had basically forgiven Link when she got to the roof and saw one more white rose with a note "Look behind you." Saria swirled around and her face dropped when she saw Eli the charming stranger holding a dozen red roses. Eli frowned a bit at her expression and Saria relized it so she quickly put out a genuine smile. Eli smiled. He handed her the flowers and now she was holding 2 dozen red roses and one white rose. She smelled them and then frowned a bit.

"Is something wrong? I'm sorry. I was too forward," Eli stepped back and looked at his feet.

"Oh, No! It is not that at all! This is sooooo incrediabally sweet. Thank you. Its just. I don't like killing flowers," Eli blushed.

"Mental note, next time potted flowers," Saria giggled. She was a little shocked this Eli person was so sweet and he was attractive.

"No problem. Just, hmmmm. OH! I've got it!" Saria ran down the roof and down the steps then she used a little sage power and voila rose garden.

"Hey, cool," Saria blushed a bit.

"Thank you so much for the flowers, but why me?" Eli stared at her for a moment as if in disbelief that someone so pretty could be so modest. He also smiled when he relized that Saria either had fantastic make-up in the morning or natural beauty.

"Well, your the prettiest green haired girl I've ever seen and from the look of last night you didn't get to eat in that charming resturaunt, so I decided that I was going to take you on a picnic by Lake Hylia. That is if you want to?" Saria smiled at him and nodded. She needed to take her mind off Link anyway. She walked into her room and fell on the bed smiling. Link came in.

"Look Sar, I'm really really sorry and it will never happen again and I will do anything to get you to forgive me and..." Link stopped relizing he didn't know what else to say. Saria was to happy to be mad.

"Okay," Link looked at her in disbelief. She'd forgiven him so quickly.

"Uh, okay. To make it up to you how about you and I go to the roof and talk and eat strawberries? Or something else. I could even take you to that resturaunt again, but this time take you personally. How about it?" Link gave Saria a puppy dog look and she rolled her eyes.

"Sorry, I have a date," the second the words left her mouth a huge smile crept on her face. Link stared at her and she pushed him out the door into his room, where West was.

"A d..date? Saria?" Link shook his head. "With who?"

"This new kid Eli. He left a trail of roses for her this morning, real romantic stuff," Link stared at the knight with wide eyes.

"No way did she fall for that. Saria doesn't like that girly romantic stuff. Does she?"

"Well, she is a girl, so I would assume that she would like girly stuff. What did you think she was a man," Link stared at West for a moment thinking.

"No....I guess I never thought of her that way. She's like a little sister.....I guess," West stared at the blond idiot for a second then hit him on the head and scolded him. Link rubbed his forhead and gave him a 'what was that for' look. Sir West just left, leaving Link thinking to himself.

About a month passed on and Link still in love with Zelda could never seem to like Eli. No matter what he did to impress Saria it just got Link angrier and in alot more fights with Zelda, who didn't like it when he didn't pay attention to her (she is a princess after all what do you expect). Eli took Saria on a big picnic on a little cliff side area near Gerudo Valley. It was pretty musty, but the sunset was gorgeous. As the sun set Eli held Saria close and leaned in to kiss her. Then he kneeled and held out a small black box and inside a beautiful ring.

"Eli, I," Saria started.

"Saria you are the most beutiful person I have ever met and I really want you to be my wife," Saria bit her lip.

"Eli, listen we barley know each other,"

"I know thats the best part we'll get to know each other,"

"I'm sorry, but no," Eli looked at her and his grey eyes seemed to turn a slight red. This scared Saria so she backed up, but then he grabbed her arm tight.

"You will!"

"Eli, get off your hurting me," Eli grabbed her and slammed her frail body down on the hard rock ground, Saria let out a pirecing scream and tried to do a magic bolt, but he slammed her wrists down. One of them hit a jagged rock and it started to bleed. Saria screamed again and then Eli put his hand over her mouth which left her right hand open so she punched him in the stomach. West was riding by at that moment and heard a scream, so he went to check it out. Then he saw a dark figure run away and Saria with a bruise on her leg, a bloody wrist, and a huge red mark on her face in the shape of a back of a hand. West ran up and picked her up then he rode to Kakiriko. When he got there he grabbed some blue potion a gave to Saria, Link came in and was horrified at the sight. He got angry when he saw the hand mark that was to small to be female.

"Link, Link stop don't jump to any conclusions. LINK!" West sighed as Link grabbed his master sword and Hyrulian sheild. He went to where Eli was staying and just stormed in.

"Where's Eli!"

"I...I think he's out back," Tellie stared slightley scared at Link's rage. Link ran outside and saw Eli watering some plants. Eli stared up and smiled at Link with no sign of nervousness.

"What did you do to her?!"

"Do to who? What are you talking about?" Link looked at him and was starting to calm down when he saw that ELi's boots were covered in dust, like the kind at Gerudo Valley. Eli noticed Link looking at his boots and stood up. Link, without flinching, slashed Eli across the face starting from the left eyebrow almost going thru his nose and ending at the middle part of his lip. Eli grabbed his face in pain, the cut was deep.

"Get out before I kill you and if you ever come back I will kill you," Link stared with fire eyes at Eli. Eli didn't wait another second and started running. Link slowly walked back to his house and checked up on Saria.
