About six months past and nothing dramatic happened (except the fact that West got in an "accident" with Link and a bad swing of the master sword and he went almost as bald as Mido). "Heeeelllloooo!" Link came in happily to the room where Saria was mixing potion. "What are you so perky about?" Saria smirked as Link fell over a chair and then got up quickly as if he did it on purpose. "Well, for one thing the sun is shinning!! The birds are singing!! And...." Link waited a second just to annoy Saria who just looked at him with a fake scowl. "What you finally beat that running man?" Link frowned slightly even if he cheated he couldn't beat that guy. "No much MUCH better!" "What?! Tell me already!" "I'm getting married!" Link held his arms out expecting a huge hug, still with a stupid smile on his face. When Saria didn't respond he took off his hat and scratched his head. "That's...umm....wonderful," Saria didn't directly look him in the eyes. "Sar, whatza matter, aren't you happy for me?" Link looked with consern. "Oh, am I happy for YOU! NO! Link I'm NOT!" Link still being a blond looked confused. "Why not," Saria looked freakshly calm then she turned around and put her hands on the table. "WHY DO YOU THINK!" Saria picked up the bottle next to her and threw it at Link. Link ducked quickly. Saria ran outside leaving Link dumbfounded. "I still don't know!" Link flopped on the bed then a light filled the room. Link rolled his eyes. "LINK COME TO THE TEMPLE OF TIME AT ONCE!" "You know Rauru you have the worst timing EVER!" Link shouted now at the ceiling grabbed his gear and went out of the village. He played Epona's song and his horse came, it wasn't that far to the temple and Link could've warped, but he needed company. "So, Epona you think its woman problems?......What? Don't give me that look! What am I the only person....or animal on the planet who doesn't know what's going on? I guess so, sheesh!" Link left Epona outside and walked into the Temple of Time. "Hello, anyone here?.....Ahhh! DON'T DO THAT!" "Sorry, you know hero your too high strung," "Hmmh, tell that to any woman on the planet," "A blond one?" "No, a greenld one. Wait a minute...a green haired one," "Hmmm, well I heard your going to get married to the princess," "Yes sir, the most handsome eliagble bachleor in all the land is going to marry the most beautiful eliable bachleorette in all the land," "Really, I thought 'you' were going to marry Zelda," "Ha, ha. Why am I here anyway, Rauru?" "Read this," Link looked questioningly at the old Light Sage. "Its a dusty old blue book," "Its a one of three dusty old books. The books of Destiny. The red one is the book of fire, it explains the evil in each person, past and future," "Its kinda small," "When the Light Sage, me, looks at this book he can control who it is going to write about, some destiny can be changed and some abosolutly can't," "Oh, still don't get it," "Shush, the green book is the book of wind, it explains the good in people and how they will unleash it," "So, I'm guessing Ganondork's not in that book," "Link," "Okay, but you gotta admit Ganondork is a preatty cool name for him," "Yes, very cool now shut it!" "Okay, okay," "Now, the dusty old blue book, as you called it, is the book of love," "Are you trying to tell me something Rauru?" Link started to snicker. "Link kindly shut up and read there," Rauru pointed to a blank page and as he pointed writing apeared. "The time will come when time will part. Then time will mend. A love will be regained. A century past the time will come again when time will break. The times saviour son of sons will become saviour. A century will pass from the time twice. Then the third warior will break all bounds in war and love. His prize he will capture. But if this is not played out there will be no warriors or saviours to protect the world from pure evil. The king that reigned on time forgotten. Will not become prince. He will destroy homes and families and love as King," Link looked at the words again they were powerful. "Link do you understand," "No, not one bit," "In plain Hyrulian Link, if you marry Zelda there will be no more hero's to save Hyrule from Ganon," "What?" "Just what I said," "No way can you do this to me," "What?" "I love Zel and I'm not listening to this stupid book, you said some can be re-written right," "Link this is a choice, the distruction of Hyrule or marry Zelda," "Didn't I already do something like this already? You know, SAVE HYRULE!!!" "That was in a time forgotten," "I sure haven't forgotten it," "Link," "No way....you can't...NO!" Link looked at Rauru with dispair his eyes glazing over. Link's head was pounding from the information. "Link maybe you should think about this," "Oh you bet I'm going to think about this, I'm going to think of a loop hole!" Rauru grabbed the young hero and spoke harsly to him. "LINK YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE! Hyrule or Zelda's love," Link got free of his arms and ran out of the temple. "And once again I'm the bad sage," Rauru put the books back and left in a blinding flash. Link ran as fast as he could until he was passed Hyrule field and right at the entrance to Kokiri forest. He was about to walk in when he stop suddenly. "Wow, no one here will talk to me," Link sat down by a tree thinking. He couldn't talk to Saria, why he didn't know. He couldn't talk to Zelda. Who else? West was at Kakiriko and Link didn't feel like going there. Then it hit him, Malon. He got up and ran to Lon Lon Ranch, it was almost dawn, but Link didn't care, Malon would be up.
