Link This is you. Link is the Hero of Hyrule who it is your destiny to control and defeat Ganon and his forces of Darkness. Link is the descendant of the famous Link, the Hero of Time.
Princess Zelda Princess Zelda is the Princess of Hyrule. She was kidnapped by Agahnim becuase of her connection to the ancient Seven Sages.
Agahnim Agahnim is an evil wizard that is a puppet under the control of Ganon. He rid Hyrule of the uncontrolable disasters that befell it and was declared "Heir to the Sevem Masses". Agahnim secretly took over Hyrule using his Black Magic.
Ganon Ganon is the Evil King or Prince of Darkness. Ganon is currently trapped in the Dark World. He had Agahnim trap the descendants of the Seven Sages so he can be freed. It is Link's job to stop this tyrant.
Maidens The Six Maidens were captured and encased in Crystals by Agahnim. They are the descendants of the Seven Sages.
Sage The Sage is the last remaining sage (of the seven) in Hyrule. He lives in the Sanctuary and harbored Zelda there during Agahnim's reign.
Sahasarhla Sahasarhla is a descendant of a Sage and is very wise and lends advice to Link whenever Link needs it.
Venus Venus is the Queen of the Fairies of Hyrule and appears in several locations, lending her services to help make Link's journey a little easier.
