He-ho-hum. You've defeated Ghot, saved the freezing Gorons, and freed another one of Termina's 4 Guardians. You should be feeling pretty good about yourself now! So, you want to know what Skull Kid really did to Epona, don't ya? Well, if you've done this before, you've probably seen Epona on your way into Romani Ranch for the Bunny Hood, right?

Well, if you haven't, I just spoiled it for you. Yes, Lycos people, Epona ran off to Romani Ranch after Skull Kid got rid of her.

Play the Song of Inverted Time to slow down time (duh). So you head to Milk Road to try to get to Romani Ranch on the 1st and 2nd day, you know that there is a huge boulder blocking the way. Bombs won't do it. But a Powder Keg will.

Powder Kegs don't come easy. First, you need your own license. Second, you can ONLY carry one at a time.

So, head over to the Snowhead dungeon, teleport to Goht, kick his ass again, and head over to the Goron Village. Jump down to the lower level and go into the Powder Keg Shop.

Once you slide down, put on the Goron Mask, and talk to the appearance of Medigoron. He'll give you a `Keg and a test:

Throw the `Keg up to the next level and roll up the small ramp. Repeat a couple of times, and the exit the Village.

Well, how do you do that? Simply act like you're going Mountain Village by the way of the bridges, and when you get to the Blue Tektite, take a right.

Do the same as you did in the Shop. Throw the Powder Keg up to the next level, and roll up the short ramp.

When you get to the top, place the big bomb next to the black monolith and talk to the Elder's Son. After a small chitchat, the bomb will explode, revealing the Racetrack.

Follow the hideously cute ugly baby into the track, and talk to him to enter the race.

Your objective is to place 1st. To do this, roll as fast as you can, and try not to bump into things. Also, stay close to the inside wall on a turn (This can take a couple of tries).

Once you've won, the Elder's Son will give to you a bottle filled with the highest quality gold dust.

Head back to the Powder Keg Shop to get your license and a free `Keg. With that done, warp to Milk Road, (first, buy a map of the Ranch from Tingle) and as a Goron, place the Powder Keg next to the boulder. Change into Link, and shoot it with an arrow. Enter into Romani Ranch.

Speed time up to its normal pace, and talk to the younger form of Malon (Romani). She'll tell you about "them", and ask you to help her with a secret operation tonight at 2:00.

As a test, she'll have you ride Epona and shoot 10 ghost-shaped balloons in under 2 minutes. I dare you to best my personal time of under 45 seconds.

After you do this, she'll re-teach Epona's Song to you, and let you have your horse back! Now, waste some time `til 1:30 a.m., and head over to the Ranch (or to the barn if you stayed in the Ranch).

Romani will come out of the house and give you your goals: Protect her and the cows from the outside

At 2:30, "them" will come. Now, there are 3 ways of doing this.

• Ride around on Epona shooting "them"
• Wear the Bunny Hood and run around shooting the ghost
• Slow down time and run around shooting "them" into oblivion.

If you have a map, watch it carefully, and watch the 2 ghost coming from behind the house and near the entrance gate. If you hold them off until 5:00, they'll leave.

Then, Romani will give a bottle filled with milk, and she'll develop a crush on our hero, just like in the last game.

Revert time to its normal pace if you slowed it down, and wait `till morning. Race into the barn to talk to Romani and the older form of Malon (Cremina). Say yes to the ride into town, and play the Song of Double Time.

Jump into the carriage and ride with Cremina. When you try to leave Milk Road, there is a fence. You'll have to detour through the Gorman Bros. Racetrack. Suddenly, Cremina tells you to get out your bow. Two figures with Garo Masks jump out on horses.

You have to pelt them with arrows to slow them down and to keep the Chateau Romani Milk safe. If just one carton survives, you'll be safe, but try to keep all 4.

After the ordeal, Cremina will deliver the milk to the Milk Bar, and reward you with Romani's Mask! Also, this happens by random, but sometimes Cremina will even give Link a hug! Looks like Romani, Zelda, Saria, and Malon have competition over Link.

Well, you've kept the Milk safe, saved the Romani Ranch cows, gotten 2 bottles, 2 crushes, a mask, gotten Epona again, and a Powder Keg license! Rock on!

Now head over to the Great Bay to save the 3rd Guardian of Termina.
