Here is a quick guide that sums up how to get Kafei and Anju back together. Every part must be carried out and lits the Day and Time it occurs at. Time is of the essence! Note that you'll want to have the Stone Mask before you do this.

1. At 10:00AM go to the Mayor's House and take the door on the right to be able to talk with Madame Aroma. She'll give you Kafei's Mask.
2. At 2:00PM on the first Day, talk to Anju, the receptionist at the Stock Pot Inn with Kaferi's Mask on. She'll ask you to come back at 11:30PM
3. At 11:30PM go to the Kitchen on the Inn. If you didn't get the room key, use the Deku Flower outside and launch onto the veranda and enter the locked door of the Inn. Talk to Anju and she'll give you Letter to Kafei.
4. Take the Letter and deposit it in any Mailbox before the Mailman comes out of his house at 6:00AM.
5. Wait at the Laundry Pool and at 3:00PM on Day 2, the Mailman will ring the bell to Kafei's house. Kafei will run out leaving the door unlocked. Enter his house. When Kafei goes in, talk to him in his room and he'll give you Pendant of Memories. Go give the Pendant to Anju.
6. At 1:00PM- 6:00PM on Day 3, enter Kafei's house again and find Kafei gone and the Curiosity Shop Owner will be there. He'll give you Keaton's Mask and Priority Mail. Now the quest splits.
7. At 6:00PM, enter the Milk Bar and talk to Madame Aroma with the Kafei Mask on. Give her the Priority Mail and she'll give you a new bottle filled with Chateau Milk.
8. OR go see the Mailman and give him the Priority Mail. He'll deliver it to Madame Aroma and when he exits the Milk Bar, eh'll give you the Postman's Hat.
9. Now, go to Ikana Valley in the area with the double Octoroks. Run right alongside the river with the Stone Mask on to run past Sakon the Theif. Talk to Kafei behind the rocks and wait for Sakon to open his lair. Run in.
10. Now you have to go through a hideous Time Trial. Step on the Blue Switch and then as Kafei, push the block on the Blue Switch. As Link, kill the Deku Baba without stepping on the red switch. Then as Kafei stand on the yellow switch and push the block onto the red switch. Push the center block onto the Blue Switch. As Link kill the Wolfos and as Kafei run and step on the Blue Switch and enter the next room and step on the Blue Switch. As Link, run into the same room as Kafei and step on the opposite switch. Kafei will get the Sun Mask and run off.
11. At 4:00AM on the very final day, a minute before the moon falls, go into the Employees Only room and wait for Kafei to come. Kafei and Anju will combine masks (get married) and give you the Couple's Mask. Go back in time before the moon falls.
