Link I

Link the 1st was born to an unknown Hylian mother during the Great War. Link and his mother sought refuge in Kokiri Forest and the mother soon died. Link was raised as a Kokiri, but noticed the differences between him and his friends, such as not having a fairy. Link was one day summoned by the Great Deku Tree via a fairy named Navi. Finally Link had a fairy! Link soon learned of the Tree's plight and purge it from Ganondorf Dragmire's curse. Link set out on an adventure to stop the evil Ganondorf and save Hyrule from the thief's madness. Link was the one who utilized the legendary Master Sword to smite the evil that inflicted Hyrule, and was even put in suspended animation in the Temple of Light for seven years. After awakening Link learned that Ganondorf had conquered Hyrule and recovered the Triforce. Link used all his courage and might to defeat Ganondorf's minion until he confronted the thief at what was once Hyrule Castle. Link learned he possessed the Triforce of Courage, and then defeated Ganondorf once and for all, proving he was the true Hero of Time. After that adventure, he was restored to childhood by Princess Zelda, the Sage of Wisdom. Records of his actions passed that time were lost and we do not know what Link I did from that point on.
